Experimental Painting Inspiration
I chose a piece by Julien Seth, also known as Seth Globe-painter. This piece of art work inspired me and also I feel like it tells a story. I feel a connection with this piece of art work because, you can see the little girl seems very lonely, like she's off in her own little world. She seems to keep company by the thing's she enjoys, maybe such as fish. I connect to it because when I was little I was alone, I maybe had one really good friend. Other then that I was pretty alone, I kept myself entertained by the stuff I enjoyed. I just love his aft work in general, but this one right here is my favorite. The colors really pop, especially with the no color umbrellas under her.

Logo Spoof
I did McDonald's as my logo spoof. McDonald's sponsored the olympics which is ironic because, it is the most unhealthiest food you can put into your body. So I used that as my spoof. I also used it because McDonald's claims to have "healthy" things on their menu, when in reality nothing on that menu is healthy.

CopyCat?
CopyCat?
1. What is the value of tracing images?
I think the value of tracing images is to trace it and eventually, make it your own. Making it your own piece of art work. All the technology we can use now t trace things and trace them a certain way, should also be valued.
2. I think it's okay to copy something when you have permission from wherever or whoever your copying from. I also believe it's alright to copy like I said in the previous question, if you make what you copied your own somehow.
3. You can get in a lot of trouble if you copy something thats copy righted without permission. If you use anyones work, art, ect. without permission. You can also get in trouble if you try and say someone else's work is your own.
In this class we've copied and pasted things. However, most of our images come off of google where they are open and free for us to use. We also copy and paste things, and we have made them our own. We have transformed the images we used.
